DESCRIPTION:WE’RE HIRING… \nADULT’S & COMMUNITY CO-ORDINATOR \n\nThis is an exciting role coordinating our community and adult focussed projects\, providing support for our incredible team of volunteers\, and developing our community outreach\, community events and adult engagement. You’ll be working alongside our amazing Community Hub Team\, including our Community Hub Manager Anna\, youth and children’s workers\, our Faith project worker and a hub administrator..   \n  \nOur ideal applicant will have experience working in the community\, supporting people and teams to flourish\, and making connections / developing partnerships. We’re looking for someone who can support our incredible volunteers to deliver our exciting range of groups sessions and activities for Adults\, and\, alongside our neighbours and volunteers\, develop new and exciting ways of engaging the wider community.. \n  \nThis will be a part time position\, for between 12 and 18.5hrs per week. Working hours may be flexible\, but will likely need to include Tuesday afternoons\, Wednesday morning and Thursday lunchtimes. We have since grown to include over forty volunteers hosting a dozen weekly activities and regular community events with hundreds of people. We also run Monty’s Bike Hub\, a social enterprise encouraging all things cycling around the east of the city. DESCRIPTION:The earth works hard to provide food for us\, and we think all that delicious food should end up in our bellies – not in landfill.\nSome of the food we use is donated by local shops\, when they have surplus food or when fresh food is past its sell by date. We also receive some donations from Fare Share\, and we’re hoping to grow our own food in a new community garden. We check all the food we use is just as fresh and full of life as you’d expect from any other café. \nWhat is PAY AS YOU FEEL?\nWe want you to enjoy our delicious\, nutritious meals\, regardless of the size of your wallet.\nYou can make a donation of your choice by putting money in the pay-as-you-feel jar. Give as much or little as you feel able to\, and your donation will help us feed more people. Help yourself to change if you need to.\nWe also accept payment in time or skills – why not lend a hand with the washing up today? Or bake us a cake? Or help us out with an event?
