HUB ADMINISTRATOR (Maternity Cover)
This is an exciting role supporting and underpinning all the work we do across Monty’s Community Hub and Monty’s Bike Hub. This will be a significant role offering wide-ranging support to our thriving and growing charity – overseeing essential hub administration, managing bookings, ensuring effective record-keeping (including supporting our treasurer with financial record-keeping) and enabling our staff and volunteer teams to focus more effectively on their main tasks.
This part-time position will initially be for between 12 and 17 hrs per week (to include Thursday lunchtimes). The successful applicant will be offered some flexible working hours, a salary commitment to match or exceed the Real Living Wage, pension contributions, and opportunities for ongoing training and development. You will be supported in this role by our Community Hub Manager and our wider team.
ABOUT MONTY’S // We’re a ‘community development’ charity based at the heart of our neighbourhood on the edge of Southampton. Starting life in 2013, when a group of volunteers from the local church and community saved our youth centre from closure, Monty’s was soon reimagined as an inclusive ‘community hub’ for people of all ages and backgrounds. We have since grown to include over forty volunteers hosting a dozen weekly activities and regular community events with hundreds of people. We also run Monty’s Bike Hub, a social enterprise encouraging all things cycling around the east of the city. More recently, our incredible team has continued to work creatively to support our community and nurture connections during the pandemic.
