About Us

Monty’s is a creative community hub in the heart of our neighbourhood in Sholing / Thornhill. You can find our building amongst a row of shops on Montague Avenue, but Monty’s is more than just a building – it’s a community.
Monty’s is a collaborative community space, where local people offer their skills, time and energy to creatively address local needs and develop local solutions. Together we host groups and activities for children, young people, adults, and families – a place for the whole community to meet up, make friends, learn and share skills, support one another and share life.
Monty’s is a registered charity run mainly by volunteers. We believe everyone has something to offer or contribute, so if you’re interested in volunteering, taking part or helping out, we’d love to hear from you.
Monty’s now has its very own SOCIAL STORY, for those who would find it helpful a paper copy can be found next to the front door or it can be accessed here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/17Idikip8G6rpMbzc8CA6iDERBjshZRtQ/view?usp=drive_link
Our Values
